Stanley P. Silverman is a retired physician who has had a passion for photography since childhood.  He initially worked with a single lens reflex film camera and did his own developing in a darkroom to give  him more control over the creative process.  Over the past 25 years he has been shooting exclusively digital and the computer has become his darkroom.  As he became more passionate about his photography, he began attending photography workshops and seminars to advance his skills in both photography and processing.  His main photographic interests are nature, landscape, wildlife and architecture.  He produces high quality archival prints using Epson Inkjet printers.
Stanley has had his work accepted in many juried exhibits including the Phillips Mill Photography Exhibit.  He has also had solo exhibits and was the featured artist at the annual “Art in the Atrium” at Abington Hospital.  He had his images from Eastern State Penitentiary published in Black and White Magazine where he received a Merit Award.
